Dear Friends,

I, like you, have been extremely disturbed by the events unfolding in Kabul, Afghanistan. While there will be a place and time to review the policy mistakes made, today our focus must be to remove those Americans, allies, and targeted Christians from harm’s way.

In a late-night call with David Barton of WallBuilders, I was briefed on the heroic efforts underway now to protect and rescue the endangered. I learned that Barton provides leadership over an extraordinary group called The Nazarene Fund, which has positioned teams on the ground in Kabul (and elsewhere), routes into and out of the airport, and private air transport into and out of Kabul with thousands of Christian & American souls on standby to be airlifted out.

While the State Department must give the go ahead, the Nazarene Fund team is positioning for success. If you would like to underwrite airlift and rescue efforts go to https://thenazarenefund.org.

Give, share, pray & learn more here: https://thenazarenefund.org.

Louisiana Family Forum today released its 2021 Legislative Scorecard, ranking members of the State House and State Senate on their commitment to family values. Those who scored a 100% on the scorecard will be awarded with the Outstanding Family Advocate Award.

2021 Outstanding Family Advocate Award recipients include 21 legislators and 39 legislators also are honored with the Family Advocate Award for earning 80 to 99% on LFF’s Scorecard. Those recipients will be announced soon.

You can access LFF’s Scorecard here. Share this valuable information with your neighbors!

This week, a federal judge struck down VCOM’s vaccine mandate saying it violates religious liberty rights under Louisiana’s state Constitution.

This was a HUGE win for religious freedom, as many Christians hold a deep religious belief that the vaccine is unethical due to its involvement of fetal cell lines.

AG Jeff Landry announced the win, stating, “Even during a pandemic, we must protect the rights of our citizens.”

Solicitor General Liz Murrill added, “This is a win for the people of Louisiana who have sincerely held religious convictions and other reservations about these vaccines. The bottom line is that the law and constitution still apply. We are grateful to Judge Doughty for protecting their rights and upholding the rule of law and will continue to work toward an acceptable resolution.”

You read that right. As the Taliban shot and killed a woman for not wearing a burqa and further violence raged across Afghanistan under the returned terrorist regime, MSNBC ran an opinion piece comparing pro-life Republicans to the Taliban.

The author of the article warned that “the Taliban aren’t the only ones trying to impose their will on women’s bodies and choices.”

The author’s moral negligence is inexcusable. Pro-life proponents want nothing more than to protect pre-born children that are already alive. The Taliban will not allow girls attend school and force children to become brides for adult men. There is zero equivalence.

So please join me in continuing to pray for the persecuted in Afghanistan, including many Christians who will likely meet death soon, as well as the radical souls in America who are so blinded by secular, godless ideologies.

Friends, prayer is essential right now.

And prayer is needed – from Louisiana to Afghanistan, the world needs Christ.

The problems we face may appear overwhelming, but never underestimate the impact of you simply making good choices and speaking up for truth.

Have a blessed weekend!
