I would like to personally invite you to our Night of Hope next Thursday, September 23 at the Healing Place Church Arena!
We hope this evening will serve as a refresher for many who have served around the clock since Ida, and our purpose is to provide pastors, relief workers, and policy makers a moment in the presence of God, friends, and a good meal. The dress is casual…so come in your work boots and relief colors! We just want hope restored to Louisiana. Please join us.

From Baton Rouge - First, she beat childhood cancer with the assistance of St. Jude, whom she now works for as a Physician’s Assistant. Now, she’s the youngest American ever, not to mention, the first pediatric cancer survivor, to go to space!
Hayley Arceneaux’s smile serves as a reminder to all of us that life is not measured by the cards you’re dealt…it’s measured by the class and character with which you play them!
Way to geaux, Hayley!
As many of you know, President Biden recently announced that employers with 100 employees or more must require the COVID-19 vaccine.
In his speech announcing the mandate, President Biden warned the unvaccinated, “We’ve been patient, but our patience is wearing thin.”
Well, Mr. President…my and many churches’ forbearance is running thin, too.
AG Jeff Landry seems to be on the same page, vowing to legally fight this mandate should it reach Louisiana:
“The decision of an individual to get a COVID shot is not the President’s to make. If Biden attempts to mandate it upon Louisiana citizens, I will challenge his unconstitutional overreach in court.”
Friends, I hope that wherever in Louisiana you are, recovery efforts from Ida are progressing.
We truly would be honored if you joined us at our Night of Hope next Thursday.
In the meantime, I pray that you may have a restful and restorative weekend.
