This Saturday, Louisiana residents in the 2nd and 5th Congressional Districts can begin early voting in the Congressional special elections.

In the 2nd District, which encompasses an area from New Orleans to Baton Rouge, and a number of areas between them, voters will choose who should replace former U.S. Rep. Cedric Richmond, who resigned from the seat to serve in the Biden Administration. See your online voter guide here.

In the 5th District, which encompasses much of northeast Louisiana, voters will choose who should replace the late Representative-elect Luke Letlow, who tragically passed away a few days before being sworn in as the next congressman. You can access your online voter guide here.

If you want more information about who may be running in your area or want to know if you live in one of these districts, please click here to access your personalized, LFF Action, non-partisan values voter guide.

The so-called “Equality Act,” which was passed by Democrats in Congress last week without even being explained or repaired in a committee, is before the U.S. Senate for “consideration.” We’re watching this one closely; with a 50-50 Democrat to Republican split in the chamber, Vice President Harris could be the tiebreaker on what is arguably ‘the worst bill of the century!” We aren’t confident that all Democrats will support the bill – it’s that bad.

We need you to let U.S. Senators, John Kennedy and Bill Cassidy, know where you stand on this un-American legislation. Both have indicated they’re with us, but we encourage you to give their offices a call and thank them for standing up for OPPOSING FEAUX EQUALITY!

Senator Cassidy’s Office: (202) 224-5824

Today is Read Across America Day – chosen originally to coincide with the birthdate of Theodore Seuss Geissel, the American children’s author commonly known as “Dr. Seuss.” Historically, U.S. Presidents have marked the occasion by proclamation, encouraging children to read and oftentimes reading to children themselves. And every year since it began, presidents have acknowledged Dr. Seuss’ whimsical contributions to the childhoods of many children.

Not this year! President Joe Biden and his staff removed Dr. Seuss from this year’s proclamation, presumably due to the “woke culture,” who has determined Dr. Seuss was racist because only 2% of his books’ human characters were “people of color.”

Dr. Seuss, Coca Cola, and Mr. Potato Head are cancelled. Wonder who’s next?

In some states, courts are determining whether or not a child’s actual, biological parents should be listed on their birth certificates. In one state, a judge has already decided, based on an emotional plea, that three men will be listed as the lawful parents on a falsified birth certificate for what they collectively claim are ‘their children.’

The men, who claim to be a “throuple,” represent the latest troubling trend courtesy of Obergefell…the Roberts decision deconstructing natural marriage.

There’s a lot of wisdom in the response from Katy Faust: “People should not be surprised by the newest manifestation of “modern family...the inevitable result of centering all legal and cultural conversations about family around the desires of adults,” as opposed to the need of children for a mom and dad.
