December 29, 2020
In just 61 hours, we’ll officially say good riddance to 2020, welcome 2021 and launch a brand spanking New Year.
That means you have 61 hours to decide and prepare what type of an investment you can make to protect life, liberty, and limited government in Louisiana in preparation for next year. Every dollar that you invest in LFF before that deadline is deductible on your 2020 taxes.
Next year brings a healthy amount of uncertainty at the national level as well as widespread distrust of public officials sworn to uphold the constitution and ensure election integrity. With the January 5th U.S. Senate runoff elections in Georgia determining the balance of power in Washington, D.C., adversarial power structures will inevitability square off and the winner will decide whether Louisiana’s family values suffer or prevail. While we pray for electoral outcomes which honor God and preserve the values we share, we must prepare for a worst-case scenario.
Friends, I need you to stand with me, with courage, and prepare for the battle for our nation.
Can I count on you to make a generous investment in the work ahead?
Here are just a few of the things your investment in LFF accomplishes:
- Fortifies our team to advocate for good legislation and against bad ideas that undermine freedom. LFF’s advocacy produced a 90% success rate in 2020 legislative battles;
- Connects churches and pastors to the public policy process, ensuring that their voice and values are not ignored or misunderstood by state government;
- Enables us to deliver a thoughtful response to the cultural issues of our day – including life, marriage, liberty, parental rights, and even the radical LGBT+ cancel-culture;
- Allows us to fulfill our mission of serving as missionaries to the Capitol in Baton Rouge.
Friends, you’ve always been there for us. I’m writing to ask if you’ll join in this mission with us as we enter the New Year and keep LFF in position as the most effective advocate for life, liberty, and limited government in Louisiana.
2020 has been a very challenging year for our state and her people. From natural disasters to economic shutdown, we’ve needed to rely heavily on each other to ensure things remain on track. It’s distinctively Louisiana, just like you and me.
Thank you for your continued support of the essential work LFF undertakes. I, and our entire team, covet your prayers, appreciate your friendship and promise to continue deploying your financial support to win hearts and minds in Louisiana.
