Dear Friends

I deserve to place first, be acknowledged for my win, and get paid. I’m sick of being bullied into silence.”

That’s what Taylor Silverman, a female skateboarder said after she placed second in a competition, losing to a biological man, “Lilian” Gallagher. The biological male competitor won $1000 dollars in qualifiers, $3000 in finals, and $1000 in best trick. "This totaled to $5000 of the prize money meant for the female athletes,” Silverman stated.

Silverman is one of many female athletes who have spoken against allowing men to dominate women’s sports.

Yesterday at the Louisiana Capitol, the Senate approved SB44, the Fairness in Women’s Sports Act and LFF encouraged the governor to sign it into law! See LFF's statement here.

The Biden administration recently proposed amendments to the International Health Regulations that would strengthen the World Health Organization’s (WHO) grip on global power. An op-ed  published by the Family Research Council highlights the dangerous implications of such changes, and urges the American public to speak against surrendering emergency power to unelected individuals whose global concerns may not match national concerns or respect US sovereignty.

The op-ed was written by former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, who is a featured speaker at LFF’s Jerusalem Prayer and Action Breakfast this Thursday! Bachmann notes that America has lived under a state of emergency declared by the president for almost two years, with no expiration date in sight. The administration’s proposed amendments would allow the Director General of WHO to unilaterally declare a public health emergency internationally, intermediately, or regionally without the consent of a UN member state.

Michele Bachmann will join Tony Perkins this Thursday, May 26th at our Jerusalem Prayer and Action Breakfast at the Capitol Park Museum in Baton Rouge! RSVP here.

Last week, U.S. District Judge Robert Summerhays granted a request by 20 attorneys general to block the Biden administration’s attempt to end Title 42. The policy allows border patrol agents to turn away migrants at the border without processing their asylum claims. It was employed nearly 100,000 times last month, an unusually high number and an indication of how critical this policy is.

Technically filed as a health policy, Title 42 allows border agents to turn people away in order to help prevent more COVID-19 cases from entering the country. Experts have said that its removal would cause an influx of immigration that the administration is unprepared for at an already overwhelmed border.

Friendseach of these stories demonstrate the need to remain engaged and active in fighting for what is right. Remain steadfast, and please join me in praying for the nine US Supreme Court justices at 9am and 9pm each day, until the final Dobbs ruling, expected any moment now.
