Dear Friends,

Please continue to pray that God’s will be done now Louisiana’s legislature has concluded.

"The fussing and shouting that marked the conclusion of the regular session last week could be heard from Baton Rouge to Bunkie.

Meanwhile, in other parts of the country the next day folks were mostly interested in the online consent legislation (House Bill 61) that lawmakers approved and the anti-LGBTQ+ bills sitting on the governor’s desk.

The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNN and CBS all picked up on Rep. Laurie Schlegel’s push to require parental consent for minors to have certain online accounts. The legislation could lead to major changes in the way digital brands conduct business in Louisiana.

Then there are the anti-LGBTQ+ bills the House and Senate advanced and Gov. John Bel Edwards has vowed to veto. Outlets ranging from Axios to ABC are covering the so-called “Don’t Say Gay” and gender-affirming care measures. Media interest could continue to grow on this front, especially with the NAACP issuing a national “travel advisory” for the Bayou State based on what it deems to be discriminatory policymaking.

These issues are early warning signs—while we may be done with the regular session, the regular session isn’t done with us."

The Left’s efforts to sexualize children, promote trans-insanity, and attack design have backfired.

According to a recent nationwide survey, there has been a significant increase in Americans who identify as social conservatives, rising by more than five percent in the past year. Analysts attribute this substantial growth primarily to the aggressiveness of the LGBTQ movement.

The newly-released Gallup poll reveals that the percentage of Americans identifying as social conservatives rose from 33 percent to an impressive 38 percent this year. In contrast, the proportion of individuals identifying as liberal declined from 34 percent to 29 percent. The annual "Values and Beliefs Survey (LINK)" was conducted from May 1 through May 24.

Gallup concludes that, “Greater social conservatism may be fostering an environment more favorable to passing conservative-leaning social legislation, especially in Republican-dominated states. Indeed, in the past year, many Republican states have passed stricter constraints on abortions, limited choices for transgender youth in sports participation and healthcare, and placed prohibitions on what topics can be discussed in classroom settings.”

On Thursday, the White House announced that President Joe Biden's Department of Justice will work closely with the LGBTQ community to combat legislation introduced by Republicans and so-called "threats" from "hate groups and domestic violent extremists."

The DOJ is targeting Republican-sponsored bills that restrict biological males from participating in women's sports, protect children from irreversible gender-transition procedures, and prohibit discussions of sexual and ideological topics in classrooms.

The White House characterized these bills as "cruel and insensitive towards our children." In response, the Biden plans to establish a new partnership called the LGBTQ+ Community Safety Partnership, which involves collaboration between federal law enforcement agencies.

The White House noted that the Departments of Homeland Security (DHS) and Health and Human Services (HHS) will “work with health care providers and medical associations to….. improve threat reporting to support doctors, clinics, and hospitals that face increasing threats.”

In other words, the White House plans to target Distinctively Louisiana Values!

Friendsthe devil is working hard to sow division and spread dangerous lies, but we know that in the end, the truth will prevail. As the Left becomes more and more radical, Americans are already beginning to embrace the truth in conservatism. Our job is to continue speaking the truth in love!
