Dear Friends, 

On July 2nd, Attorney General Jeff Landry, on behalf of himself and the Louisiana Department of Health Secretary Courtney Phillips, filed an application to the Louisiana Supreme Court to dissolve the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) preventing Landry and Secretary Phillips from enforcing Louisiana’s pro-life laws. 

The request is a response to a lawsuit filed by Hope Medical Group for Women in Shreveport against the 2006 Human Life Protection Act, as well as the recent 2022 Reaffirmation of Human Life Act.  

While abortion clinics hasten to provide as many "terminations" as the time remaining on the clock allows, LFF is confident that state Supreme Court will affirm that Abortion, Inc. itself is terminated and evicted from operating on Louisiana soil.

Pray for the Louisiana Supreme Court to act in a timely and judicious manner.

According to a recent Gallup report, just 38% of our nation’s people are “extremely proud” to be American, the lowest number since the report began in 2001.

The rest of the data from the report, however, reveals that the state of patriotism may not be as dire as it seems. “Still,” the report continues, “together with the 27% who are ‘very proud,’ 65% of U.S. adults express pride in the nation. Another 22% say they are ‘moderately proud,’ while 9% are ‘only a little’ and 4% ‘not at all’ proud."

While we would hope all Americans would recognize the individual uniqueness of our great nation – flaws and all – the report that 65% of all U.S. adults still express pride in our country counters the media narrative that everything about America is “wrong.”

In the seven days after the US Supreme Court announced that Roe v. Wade was overturned in the Dobbs decision, at least 25 attacks against churches and pro-life centers occurred. One would think the mainstream media might be interested in this persistent domestic terror trend!

Countering the violence, however, is the abundance of love and compassion shown by pro-life organizations and pregnancy resource centers which are ready to serve. 

There are dozens of pregnancy resource centers that provide free services to abortion-vulnerable women throughout Louisiana.
