Dear Friends,

Last week, the U.S. House Judiciary committee held a hearing to address the concerns surrounding child transgender medical interventions to highlight their potential dangers.

Chloe Cole, a 19-year-old detransitioner who underwent a double mastectomy, gave testimony - similar to testimony offered here in a Louisiana House Health & Welfare committee - documenting the medical experimentation she endured as a recipient of gender-affirming care.”

“It’s caused permanent changes to my body. My voice will forever be deeper, my jawline sharper, my nose longer,” she said. “My bone structure is permanently masculinized. My Adam’s apple is more prominent. My fertility is unknown. I look in the mirror…, and I feel like a monster.”

“My childhood was ruined, along with thousands of detransitioners that I know through our networks,” Cole said, who began her “transition” at the age of 12.

Then, Paula Scanlan, a former swimmer at the University of Pennsylvania, spoke about how she and her teammates were required to change in the women's locker room with male swimmer Lia Thomas by school athletic officials "18 times per week."

Ironically, Tennessee Democrat Rep. Steve Cohen proposed implementing "some type of barrier in the women’s area of the locker room" to separate female athletes from men who “identify” as women.

It’s unconscionable that so many girls have been victimized by gender ideology! Just today, a New Orleans physician bemoaned the impact of Louisiana’s new law forbidding that practice, and announced his departure to a more favorable state of insanity… New York.

Pray for these children, our lawmakers, and the voting population to right these injustices!

A former high school snowboarding coach initiated a federal lawsuit, claiming that his First Amendment rights were infringed upon when he was terminated for expressing his views on transgender-identifying athletes.

The 31-page complaint, submitted by Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), on behalf of Coach David Bloch, sought a motion for preliminary injunction, seeking immediate reinstatement. The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont.

Bloch simply asserted that, based on biology, males and females possess distinct DNA, leading to different physical development and characteristics. He also pointed out that these biological differences often provide males with competitive advantages in athletic events—a fact that, despite its broad acceptance among a majority of Americans, is now considered controversial.

“No one should lose their job for speaking the truth. The First Amendment protects the rights of all Americans to peacefully share their beliefs without fear of government punishment. This means that government officials cannot terminate an employee simply because he expresses a belief that they do not like,” said ADF in a statement.

To the Left, stating a scientific fact is now a fireable offense. Pray for Coach Bloch & ADF!

In Idaho, three Christians were arrested for singing hymns outdoors during the COVID-19 pandemic in September 2020. The charges against them were connected to the violation of masking and social distancing regs implemented during the pandemic. On July 14th, the city of Moscow announced that the three men won their lawsuit and were awarded $300,000.

Southern Illinois University has agreed to pay an amount of $80,000 to a Christian student, Maggie DeJong, as part of a settlement following her lawsuit against the university. DeJong, an Art Therapy Counseling graduate, alleged that the university had suppressed her conservative political views and took punitive actions against her based on complaints from other students who disagreed with her outspokenness on her conservative beliefs.

Free speech and religious liberty are the birthright of all Americans, Christians included!

Friends, I hope that you have a refreshing week! Please continue to pray that God guides LFF as we remain on the frontlines of a deeply spiritual culture war. We trust that God has a plan and is moving in our midst. Our job is to follow where He leads!

In His Service,
