We are busy marshaling resources and manpower on behalf of the impacted families and areas across Louisiana as recovery efforts are underway in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida. We are inspired and humbled by the acts of charity and generosity we have seen from churches and families throughout the state and across the United States!
Please keep praying!
Please also consider a compassionate offering/gift to keep our team in impact zone!
LFF’s 2021 Gala is a Geaux – in a slightly modified format!
We will pivot to a “Night of Hope” for those public officials, pastors and others who have served through Hurricane Ida’s wrath. We want to show our gratitude and share an evening of thanksgiving for these faithful servants. This year you don’t need your suits - you can come in your boots!
We are still looking for sponsors to help us provide a breath of fresh air to those inside the impact zone. If you would like to sponsor a table or be a part of our “Night of Hope,” click here. Every gift makes a difference!
We love good news like this!
A preemie born 15 weeks early at just 2lbs, 2oz in 2016 is now thriving and showing the world the tenacity of life!
As a newborn, Amell spent hundreds of days in the hospital and underwent several surgeries. The doctors gave little hope, saying Amell would spend life in a wheelchair. But he has already proved those predictions wrong!
His mother says Amell is being raised to know that disabilities will never stand in his way.
Amell’s story is a beautiful example of the preciousness of life and how we should never let the “odds” discourage us.
The world is lucky to have role models like Tim Tebow.
The football star recently called his followers to pray in response to the tragedies around the world, including the effects of Hurricane Ida on Louisiana.
"With so many challenges, we, the body of Christ have many opportunities to impact those directly affected by these crises. In the dark, the light of Jesus shines brightest. As we pray over each of these crises, let's all seek ways to serve those affected and be ready when God calls us to step in to make a difference in the life of another."
I hope these stories brought you some much needed joy today.
I continue to be astounded by the resilience and positive outlook of the people of Louisiana. Christ never leaves or forsakes us – and He always redeems what He allows!
I pray for your continued endurance and hope.
In His Service,
President, Louisiana Family Forum
