It’s that time again! LFF is searching for the 2023 Longest Married Couple in Louisiana!

It is part of an LFF tradition to honor Louisiana couples who have modeled steadfast loyalty and commitment to their wedding vows throughout the decades.

If you know of a marriage which has navigated 70+ years of changing times, please tell us their story and help us honor these covenant keepers by completing this form. Thank you!

Now that the House Speaker race is resolved, Republicans have gone to work on an agenda.

On Wednesday, 200+ Democrats refused to condemn violence and voted against a resolution condemning the attacks on pregnancy centers through 2022. That resolution passed 222-208.

Perhaps even more stunning: the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Act passed with 210 representatives voting against the bill. All Democrats except for two (from Texas) voted that babies born alive after a botched abortion should not be offered proper medical care. Unconscionable!

Republicans also proposed a bill to abolish the IRS and replace the national income tax and others with one consumption tax. President Biden “adamantly opposes” this bill.

In the US Senate, John Kennedy sums up the recent Biden scandal as only he can!

Stay tuned! We will keep you posted on the top bills in BR and DC.

This week, AG Jeff Landry discussed his lawsuit against Big Tech platforms for their censorship of certain conservatives and specifically the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccine treatments.

From the Hayride:

One of the latest bits of which was that when Tucker Carlson discussed the suspect performance of the COVID vaccines on his show back in 2021, the White House went into a fit of apoplexy and demanded Facebook block dissemination of the video clip. A fascist troglodyte in the Biden White House named Rob Flaherty was found, in emails uncovered by the discovery from Landry’s suit, berating Facebook officials with demands to block Carlson’s clip.

You can watch Tucker Carlson and AG Jeff Landry’s discussion here.

FriendsI hope you and your family enjoy a restful weekend. Keep Team LFF in your prayers as we begin to tackle projects in 2023!

P.S. We are excited to report that LFF’s year-end campaign goal to raise $100,000 is finally closed and while we fell shy of our objective, it was not by much! Thank you for the $98,800 jump start on 2023 and your incredible generosity! You make this work possible!
