Dear Friends,

Early Wednesday morning, law enforcement officials arrested a man outside of Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s Maryland home. He was admittedly there to assassinate the SCOTUS justice.

The stated motivation was sparked by the leaked draft opinion of the Dobbs ruling indicating that Roe v. Wade will be overturned.

Chief Justice John Roberts, for the safety of his justices and the integrity of the court, should release the Dobbs ruling NOW! Violence against pro-life pregnancy centers and pro-life organizations will continue until the ruling is released, and the violence will likely continue; after all, they have promised a “Summer of Rage." Still, God is in control! 

Pray for the safety of the SCOTUS justices, that Roe v. Wade is ended, and for a Respect-Life ethic in America! Pray that Governor Edwards signs all pro-life legislation on his desk!

A federal judge dropkicked the legislature's congressional redistricting plan, prompting Gov. Edwards to call a Special Session (of the Legislature) for mapmaking to commence June 15. Legislative leaders, however, don't actually think they'll be back in Baton Rouge next week, especially with the 5th Circuit's order on Thursday.

Last night, the 5th Circuit stayed the redistricting order, which means that the Special Session is up in the air. Stay tuned.

A report that came out Thursday indicates that the Louisiana State Police will be investigated by the US Department of Justice "for a 'pattern-or-practice' of racial discrimination and excessive force."

"We will review incident reports, body-worn camera footage, and other data and documentation collected by the department," said Kristen Clark, Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the DOJ as she announced the civil rights investigation. "We will also review Louisiana State policies, training materials and supervision records, as well as documents relating to systems of accountability, including how complaints are investigated, and how discipline is imposed."

Friends, our state and country are in turmoil! We know that we must pray for our country, countrymen and bring a light which reveals the way for our culture. God wills it. The Truth remains the only thing which will set the captives free!
