Friends, please take a moment right now to personalize your message using this form, to urge Louisiana lawmakers to stand strong and override the three vetoes issued by Governor Edwards that expose children to radical gender ideology. In an article for the Daily Wire, Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry calls on parents to speak up and protect children’s innocence. The Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit in Landry’s office receives tips about child exploitation and works with law enforcement to investigate. Landry notes a substantial rise over the last several years. “These tips can encompass sexual conversations with juveniles to distribution of sexual images or videos on social media. Over the years, the number of tips has grown exponentially…. In 2009, Louisiana received 172 tips; but in the first quarter of 2023, we have received 2,500+, each involving children that potentially need protection from groomers, abuse, or traffickers,” Landry writes. He says that our overly sexualized culture, including sexually-explicit material in Louisiana’s public libraries, is worsening the problem, as children have become desensitized to sexual content. Landry calls on parents to have conversations with children about what is “normal and healthy versus trendy and dangerous.” |

The CDC is once again denies logic by endorsing the practice of "chest-feeding," which involves trans-identifying males attempting to breastfeed babies. The agency offers “guidance” on methods for men to increase milk production. “Transgender and nonbinary-gendered individuals may give birth and breastfeed or feed at the chest (chest-feed). The gender identity or expression of transgender individuals is different from their sex at birth. The gender identity of nonbinary-gendered individuals does not fit neatly into either man or woman. An individual does not need to have given birth to breastfeed or chest-feed. Some families may have other preferred terminology for how they feed their babies, such as nursing, chest-feeding, or bodyfeeding,” reads a page on the CDC website titled “Healthy Equity Considerations.” Of course, medications utilized to stimulate milk production in men have been associated with heart issues in infants! The agency offers a long list of dos and don’ts for doctors caring for trans-identifying patients. It’s clear that the CDC is committed to sexual-politics over actual healthcare. LFF recommendation: such behavior in Louisiana should warrant an urgent call to the Attorney General's Child Exploitation Hotline: 855-452-5437 |
