Friends,

Abortion, Inc. told to stand down! As you know, the pro-life law that came into effect after the overturning of Roe v. Wade is being legally challenged, and has been implemented and stayed and then implemented again. Well, this morning, the Louisiana Supreme Court denied the latest stay request, so the law will continue to stand while the legal challenges take place.

This is a great sign for the case, and will save the lives of hundreds of innocent children. Allowing abortion to continue while the abortion industry files lawsuit after lawsuit would be a tragedy, as the people of Louisiana have spoken clearly on their values, and their representatives passed this law to protect unborn life.

Back in June, the Louisiana Department of Health posted on social media about a “family-friendly Pride event” that included photos of a child offering money to a drag queen. Now, after the Department of Health wisely removed the post, the press is coming after the officials who ordered it pulled down.

I don’t think it takes a law enforcement officer to understand that when a child is tipping a dancer with dollar bills, something needs to be investigated, but it isn’t the person who removed the post!

Has anyone else noticed how much more we hear about drag queens performing for children these days? What’s their obsession with performing for kids?

The 2022 Louisiana Family Forum Awards Gala is being held on September 20th at the Healing Place Church Arena in Baton Rouge, and we still have sponsorships available.

Each year, LFF recognizes legislators who vote pro-life and pro-family throughout the legislative session. LFF’s Legislative Awards Ceremony is the premier fall political event in Louisiana.

We invite you to celebrate the exemplary representatives and senators who stood for life, liberty, and limited government.

For more information on sponsorship of this event, click here.

Friends, remember 1 Timothy 6:11-12: “ But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith.”

“If today you hear God’s voice, harden not your hearts!”

In His Service,

Gene Mills
