Dear Friends

We hope you had a pleasant Thanksgiving and a restful break filled with gratitude for the blessings God has bestowed. Now, we are eager to engage the fight for faith, family, and freedom, and we can’t do it without your help.

Today is #Giving Tuesday, and we would be humbled if you were able to include Louisiana Family Forum in your gifts. LFF has a number of goals ahead – including stopping the government mandate madness, establishing an abortion-free Louisiana, and bringing back Fairness in Women’s Sports – and we need your support to achieve these goals.

Please prayerfully consider your role with LFF in building a Louisiana where God is honored, life is respected, families flourish, and liberty reigns!

Yesterday, a federal judge blocked the implementation of Biden’s vaccine mandate applied to healthcare workers at facilities receiving Medicare and Medicaid funding.

Missouri led this specific lawsuit, and the ruling applies to the following states that are also participating in the lawsuit: Alaska, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, New Hampshire, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, and Wyoming.

Judge Matthew Schelp of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri said the following: “The public would benefit from the preliminary injunction because it would ensure that federal agencies do not extend their power beyond the express delegation from Congress, as already discussed.”

Here in Louisiana, Attorney General Jeff Landry is firing back against the Louisiana Department of Health’s intention to mandate that children receive the COVID-19 shot in order to attend school. Landry referred to the proposed rule as an  “attempt to interfere with the healthcare choices of parents and their children,” - and he is right.

In a Face the Nation interview, Dr. Fauci made some eyebrow-raising statements, claiming, "They're really criticizing science because I represent science. That's dangerous." His comments were in the context of repeated calls for Fauci to resign.

Senator Rand Paul did not mince words on Twitter, writing, “The absolute hubris of someone claiming THEY represent science. It’s astounding and alarming that a public health bureaucrat would even think to claim such a thing, especially one who has worked so hard to ignore the science of natural immunity.”

Some are asking: is Dr. Fauci a serial liar?

Friendsa monumental Supreme Court case regarding abortion will be heard tomorrow, and we must petition heaven for a favorable outcome. The ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization could reverse an egregious 50 year old error, Roe v. Wade, which will allow states to ban abortion. Louisiana passed a trigger law in 2020 that will make Louisiana abortion-free if Roe is overturned.

I will be in DC with allies from around the country to pray, petition and prepare for a post-Roe v. Wade America.

Please join me in praying that wisdom will settle upon US Supreme Court justices and rule in favor of the right to life and in accordance with the Constitution.

We are hopeful that Dobbs will be decided correctly and untold unborn lives will be saved as a result.

For Life,

Gene Mills
President, Louisiana Family Forum
